On May 2nd we had a geomagnetic storm, with high speed particles from the sun interacting with the Earth's magnetosphere. This generated strong auroras in the Edmonton region.

 

Zoltan Kenwell was out all night and managed to capture some more signature shots. This time, Zoltan headed East of the city to Two Hills to capture some great images. These can be seen in his gallery.
