There is a potential for some enhanced Auroral activity in the next few days (Feb. 17+), due to a coronal mass ejection, associated with the recent X-class flare that occurred on the sun recently. The CME increases the particles and energy in the near-Earth environment increasing the chances of Auroral sightings - though the weather for the region may hamper viewing opportunities; cloudy with snow!
