AuroraWatching - 20th April 2011 Print E-mail

The evening of the 20th of April proved to be a good night for witnessing the Aurora! Zoltan Kenwell, Peter Stahl and, witnessing her first Auroral show, Marina Ibrishimova have sent us pictures!

Although only registering as a yellow alert, the disturbance seen was sufficient to generate a spectacular display for those lucky enough to be out in the small hours of the morning!

Marina Ibrishimova managed to see the Aurora and capture these shots of the Northern Lights dancing over the city.

Peter Stahl captured some great Auroral images that can be seen in his gallery at http://www.pbase.com/decor/northern_lights_april_2011

Zoltan Kenwell was roving in the wilderness capturing great images: http://photos.infocusimagery.com/p40588221

Thanks to all for sharing!!
